The Plus Annual Filter Kit for the Amaircare 2500 includes 3 pre-filters and 1 VOC canister. Pre-filters help to extend the useful life on the main HEPA cartridge by filtering the air of larger particulates before air flow reaches the HEPA surface. This keeps the unit running at maximum efficiency for about one year with normal use.

The optional VOC Canister has a much larger surface area of carbon than the standard carbon filter, so its collection capacity is greatly increased. This makes the VOC Cartridge the filter of choice for situations where increased VOC removal is important.
